Digital Accessibility Standard (DAS) — Have your say

Overview

A new Digital Accessibility Standard (DAS) will replace the Web Accessibility Standard in early 2027. We are changing the standard to make sure that accessibility is considered for all digital technology.

We want your views on what should be in the standard. This helps make sure the DAS focuses on what people need. 

We have published information about the standard and the consultation in a range of accessible formats.

The survey  

This survey has 18 questions. Most are multiple choice, and some will let you add comments. All questions are optional.

What happens next

The draft DAS public consultation ran from Monday 13 July to Friday 7 August 2026. 

Now that the consultation period is closed, all responses will be reviewed and analysed. This will help shape the final version of the DAS. 

A summary of the feedback will be published in late 2026. In early 2027 we will publish the DAS and a document explaining the decisions made.
